It's possible that you already know of Anglish, but in case you don't, I'll give a brief explanation.
In 1066 CE, the Kingdom of England fell to the Duchy of Normandy in the Battle of Hastings. This resulted in the Norman language (an early form of northern French) being imposed upon the English, paving the way for the English language's unhealthy obsession with French and Latin.
But what if the English won instead? Anglish is the supposed result, where the English held firm and prevented any future French or Latin influence from ever occuring. Many Anglishers also purge Norse influence and existing Latinic/French influence. I try to use existing native English forms instead of Norse ones, but I have no qualms with existing Old English words from French or Latin, such as yntse (ounce) and sealtian (to dance), both of which are of Latin origin.
I started my strain of Anglish ("Piplup's Anglish") in May of 2023, and I've been steadily working on it ever since. In September of 2025, I began the long and arduous task of redoing my entire wordbook from scratch to be formatted better, and as of writing this on May 3rd, 2026, I've only completed AA-IM.
Anglish is the conlang (or more accurately, conlect) of mine which I can most consistently return to.
I've translated over 100 chapters of the Pokémon Adventures manga into Anglish. I might make that public eventually but I'm not sure.
Now for the same words, but in Anglish
It is comenly that thou already know of Anglish, but lest thou do not, I will yeave a short retching.
In 1066 C.E. (Churly Eld), the Kingdom of England fell to the Hartowdom of Normandy in the Gouth of Hastings. The outcome was the Normanish tongue being thright upon the English, evening the way for the English tongue's unhealthy thoughtbestriding mid French and Leeden.
But what if the English won instead? Anglish is the foredeemed outcome, where the English held fast and thwarted any toward French or Leedish sway from ever happening. Many Anglishers also cleanse the tongue of Northmannish sway and standing Leedish/French sway. I fand to note standing inborn English shapes instead of Northmannish ones, but I have no qualms with standing Old English words from French or Leeden, such as yntse (ince) and sealtian (to solt), both of which are of Leedish frumth.
I started my "strain" of Anglish ("Ploplup's Anglish") amid the Thirmilk of 2023, and I have been steadily working on it ever since. Amid the Harvestmonth of 2025, I began the long and burdensome errand of ayenworking my whole wordbook from scratch to be outlain better, and as of writing this on the 3rd of Thirmilk, 2026, I have only fuldone AA through IM.
Anglish is the crafted tongue (or more soothly, crafted bytongue) of mine which I can most unyieldingly edwend to.
I have went over 100 capittles of the Pockwights: Sunderly Dawnlandish talestrip into Anglish. I might make that open to thy reading some day, but I am not yet witted.
